Michael J. Melnik

This website is a showcase of my music and other content. I am a composer, audio engineer, percussionist, college administrator, and writer who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition and a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance in 2020. After moving to Miami for two years I graduated with a Master of Music in Media Scoring and Production at the University of Miami: Frost School of Music with a 4.0 GPA.

In January 2024 I started work at University of Connecticut in the Department of Communication as their Educational Program Assistant II. My eventual goal is to work as an administrator for an arts institution.

My primary interests include audio recording, mixing, film/video game scoring, orchestral/contemporary percussion, and administration of the arts in higher education.
