String Session with the

Henry Mancini Institute

In the Spring of 2022 I scored a scene in the movie No Country for Old Men that had no music in the original score. The scene is when Josh Brolin's character is awaiting Javier Bardem's character in the motel. The music is comprised primarily of the strings in the video + a few electronics.

Reckoner (Cover)

This was a project for my production class at The Frost School of Music. The goal was to recreate a song of our choice from scratch. I chose "Reckoner" by Radiohead. I think I came pretty close and am very proud of what I accomplished as this was my first time recording or producing anything. A big thank you to Spencer Ford, Jordan Kowalski, and Erik Gunnarson!

String Quartet No. 1 “At least it’s not cold…” (2020 Definitive Edition)

My first string quartet was written between January 2016 and April 2017. The original was begun on Musescore 2 and then eventually re-written in Sibelius. The piece was supposed to be performed in me senior composition recital, but that was unfortunately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later in 2020 I remixed the entire piece with the BBCSO Spitfire Samples for inclusion in my graduate school applications. For now this is the highest quality version of one of my own favorite works.

Peace of Mind

A piece of longing and hope inspired by Arcade Fire's Dimensions from the movie Her and Sibelius's Fifth Symphony Mvmt. 3. Written in 2016.

I admit some of the midi instrument sounds a little outdated. This was made entirely on Musescore 2 with a soundfont curated by my best friend. I could remake the piece with better sounds and I may do a sequel of some sort one day, buy I would like to leave the original up here for posterity's sake. 7/1/2020
